He subsequently obtained a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Milan \u2013 Bicocca in 2022. He is currently employed as a fixed-term Type A Researcher at the same university.\n<br><br>\nThroughout his career, Nicol\u00f2 Pianta has worked in the field of electrochemistry, with a particular focus on alkali-ion batteries (lithium and sodium). His research has involved both battery materials (e.g., sodium-ion cathodes, lithium-ion electrolytes) and advanced analytical techniques (e.g., electrochemical impedance spectroscopy).
