She received her Ph.D. in Nanoscience in 2010 from the National Nanotechnology Laboratory (NNL) at the Universit\u00e0 del Salento (Italy). From 2010 to 2016, she joined the Italian Institute of Technology, where she worked on nanostructured semiconductors for photovoltaics. Since 2016, she has been a researcher at CNR NANOTEC, leading a team focused on the development of novel hybrid materials and devices based on them.<br>\nShe is the author of over 80 scientific publications and 4 patents. Her research interests encompass the design, fabrication, and characterization of optoelectronic devices, including solar cells and electrochemical devices, as well as the engineering of nanomaterials with specifically tailored functional properties.<br>\nCurrently, she is the Principal Investigator of the ERC Consolidator project &#8220;HYNANOSTORE,&#8221; aimed at developing new sustainable hybrid systems for energy storage. She is also the Coordinator of the PRIN PNRR project \u2018HEROES\u2019 and is responsible for CNR NANOTEC&#8217;s activities within the \u2018NEST &#8211; Network 4 Energy Sustainable Transition\u2019 (PNRR Extended Partnership) project, dedicated to the development of new sustainable materials.<\/p><\/div>  <\/div><\/div> <\/div>        <\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Luisa De Marco Luisa De Marco is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Nanotechnology of the National Research Council, CNR-NANOTEC, based in Lecce (Italy).
