With nearly a decade of expertise in lithium-ion technology, Carmen is at the cutting edge of battery cell innovation. She holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Rome &#8220;La Sapienza,&#8221; where she collaborated with renowned institutions like Forschungszentrum J\u00fclich and Stanford University.<br>\nCarmen\u2019s research career took off at Chalmers University of Technology, where she thrived as a postdoctoral researcher and visiting scientist at Australia\u2019s Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO). She further refined her skills in advanced operando characterisations at the University of Oslo before transitioning to industry, joining Cenate in Norway.<br>\nHer specialities encompass Li\/Na\/multivalent battery and capacitor materials, with a strong focus on silicon-based anodes and operando X-ray characterisation techniques.
