Her research activity is focused on the development of innovative materials and processes for sustainable high-energy lithium batteries and next generation batteries, such as lithium-air, lithium-sulfur and sodium-ion batteries. In 2018, she co-founded the Italian Startup BETTERY Srl, Spin-off of the University of Bologna, and in 2019 she collaborated with Manz Italy Srl as Associate Battery Researcher.
