Since 2004 he has been in different leading positions for fuel cell and battery technology research and development at BMW e.g. being responsible for the product development of the first generation Li-ion cells for the i3 and i8 as well as building up a strong research group on battery cell technology including the realization of the BMW Battery Cell Competence Center.\n<br><br>\nHe is board member of several advisory boards including the KLIB (Kompetenznetzwerk Lithium-Ionen-Batterien, Germany), and the IMLB (International Meeting on Lithium Batteries).
