Antonella Macagnano

Antonella Macagnano is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Atmospheric Pollution Research (CNR–IIA, Italy), where she leads research activities on advanced nanostructured materials and sensors for environmental monitoring. Her work focuses on electrospun nanofibers, molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs), and bio-based materials derived from agro-forestry waste, with applications in gas sensing, air quality monitoring, and sustainable technologies. She is actively involved in national and European research projects and serves as reviewer and guest editor for international journals in the field of nanomaterials and sensors.
