Xiaoran Li

Prof. Xiaoran Li is a Professor at Donghua University. She received her Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Tianjin University, China, in 2010, under the supervision of Prof. Xiaoyan Yuan. From 2007 to 2009, she spent two years as a visiting graduate student in Prof. Younan Xia’s group at Washington University in St. Louis. She joined the Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech and Nano-Bionics (SINANO), Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010. Since May 2018, she has been a Professor at Donghua University. Her research focuses on the development of electrospun fiber-based biomaterials. She has authored and co-authored over 70 peer-reviewed SCI papers published in the journals including Adv. Funct. Mater., ACS Nano, and Biomaterials. etc. She holds over 20 authorized invention patents. Prof. Li has been selected for Shanghai Eastern Talent Plan Leading Project and membership in the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. She serves as a committee member of the Neural Regeneration and Organ Repair Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association and the Healthy Textile Committee of the China Textile Engineering Society.
