ATIV Conference

On June 12th, 2025 Mr Francesco Carollo presented his contribution ‘Stabilization of cold consolidated waste glass supported by alkali activation and microwave heating’ at the ATIV Conference held at the University of Parma. During the talk, the latest findings of the joint work of the three research units involved in the GLASS Trea.S.U.Res project on the stabilization of materials produced by alkaline activation and cold consolidation of highly contaminated BASG waste glass were presented. The investigation was published in the june edition of  Materials Journal with the title ‘Cold Consolidation of waste glass by alkali activation and curing by traditional and microwave heating’.
