Arcangelo Celeste

Arcangelo Celeste graduated in Chemistry from the University of Basilicata in 2017. In January 2018, he moved to Genoa to start a fellowship at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT). He completed his Ph.D. in Sciences and Technologies of Chemistry and Materials, Curriculum: Nanochemistry, at the University of Genoa in March 2022, in collaboration with IIT. Afterward, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Chemistry at the University of Rome “La Sapienza,” in partnership with the ENEA Casaccia Research Center. Since April 2023, he has been an RTD-A researcher at the University of Rome “La Sapienza.”
His research focuses on the synthesis, structure, and properties of solid materials, with a particular emphasis on materials for energy storage applications. Specifically, his work has involved investigating oxide-based cathode materials for lithium and sodium-ion batteries, exploring the relationship between structure and synthesis methods.
