Since 1993, Qi Srl has been distributing scientific instrumentation in the Italian territory for the measurement of the physical/chemical properties of materials, such as particle sizing, zeta potential, dispersion stability over time, thermal conductivity and diffusivity, mixers, high-pressure homogenizers for both laboratory and in-line use, and atomic force microscopes. These are used in high-tech fields such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, new materials, nanotechnologies, etc.
Over the years, the distribution activity has been enhanced with application consulting and, eventually, with third-party production of bulk liquid medical devices. This development represents the synthesis of an activity that has continued to provide know-how in its relationships with customers, offering them the opportunity to outsource complex activities.
With this transformation, Qi Srl has effectively taken on the dual role of CRO (Contract Research Organization) and CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization), targeting a market niche where the necessary expertise is available only to a limited group of entities, including Qi Srl itself.
Qi Srl also aims to offer its services as a provider of analytical activities for batch release, stability studies, development activities, and on-demand services at the client’s request.
