Diana Golodnitsky

Prof. Diana Golodnitsky is an esteemed scientist in the field of research on advanced batteries. She holds position of The Raymond and Beverly Sackler Chair in Chemistry and Energy Sciences of Tel Aviv University. She is The President of Israel Electrochemical Society, Fellow of Electrochemical Society and of Royal Society of Chemistry. Diana Golodnitsky spent most of her career studying fundamental electrochemistry, materials science and ion-transport phenomena in solid electrolytes and nanostructured electrodes. Her scientific interests include, in addition, electrochemical synthesis, electrodeposition of metals and alloys, 3D-micro- and nano-battery architectures, development and characterization of innovative materials for advanced energy technologies. Prof. Golodnitsky has supervised 42 MSc, PhD, and Postdoctoral students. She published 144 papers, seven book chapters, and more than 240 conference publications. Diana Golodnitsky holds 20 patents and is a co-founder of four startup companies.
