Emanuele Giannino
Emanuele Giannino, Tenor, graduated from the “Arcangelo Corelli” Conservatory in Messina, and is the winner of prestigious international competitions, including the “Adriano Belli” in Spoleto (1987) and “Toti Dal Monte” (1992). He made his debut in L’Italiana in Algeri and La Sonnambula in Spoleto.
He quickly embarked on a successful career that has taken him to the stages of some of the world’s leading theaters, including Teatro alla Scala, Liceu in Barcelona, Opernhaus in Zurich, La Monnaie in Brussels, Opéra National de Paris, Semperoper in Dresden, Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, and Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
His most recent performances include Orphée aux Enfers, Semyon Kotko, and Lucia di Lammermoor at Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, La Rondine, Turandot, and Madama Butterfly at the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago, La Rondine at Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Lucrezia Borgia at Teatro Regio di Torino, Manon Lescaut at Opernhaus in Leipzig, Tosca at Opéra de Nantes, Les Contes d’Hoffmann at Teatro Regio di Torino, Le Nozze di Figaro at Opéra de Rouen, Otello in Baden-Baden, and Lucia di Lammermoor (Arturo) at Teatro La Fenice in Venice.
His upcoming engagements include Le Nozze di Figaro (Don Curzio) at Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Teatro alla Scala, and the Festival International d’Art Lyrique d’Aix-en-Provence, and Falstaff (Bardolfo) at Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse. He is also active in the concert field, with a repertoire that includes works such as Stabat Mater, Petite Messe Solennelle (Teatro alla Scala), Messa di Gloria by Rossini, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, and the oratorio Christus am Ölberge.
