Wei Wang
Dr. Wei Wang is the laboratory fellow at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, WA, USA. He currently leads PNNL’s Energy Storage Materials Initiative, which is focused on data-driven automated discovery and development of energy storage materials. His research explores the understanding and manipulation of solvation structures and transport phenomena in highly concentrated electrolytes, as well as their applications in energy storage and conversion. Dr. Wang has published more than 120 peer-reviewed journal articles and was named a top 1% Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researcher in 2018. He holds 23 patents in energy-related technologies, with multiple industry licenses. He is the recipient of multiple awards such as The R&D 100, Battelle Distinguished Inventor, and US EPA Green Chemistry Challenge Award.
